Enilt Europe 2024: ADW launches lead-free flow measurement solution on site
In just 4 months, we successfully achieved the upgrade from lead-free ceramic sensors to lead-free flow measurement solutions
At around 9:00 a.m. local time on October 22, Milan, Italy officially ushered in the annual energy industry festival - Enilt Europe 2024. ADW exhibited its lead-free flow measurement solution for the first time on site, implementing the concept of green environmental protection and drawing a new blueprint for the development of sustainable energy technology with industry peers.
Lead-free flow measurement solution
The lead-free flow measurement solution is a complete liquid medium monitoring technology solution with a lead-free piezoelectric ceramic flow sensor as the core and equipped with UFC ( ultrasonic flow converter).
Among them, the lead-free piezoelectric ceramic flow sensor is an environmentally friendly liquid medium ultrasonic sensor based on new material technology. Its built-in piezoelectric ceramics use self-developed materials (does not contain lead elements), which meets the current international advanced environmental protection standards, ensuring a more environmentally friendly and accurate sensing device for liquid measurement.
in the solution utilizes a high-performance front end to extract time-of-flight (ToF) information, drive the sensor and process the received signal. The UFC’s programmable gain amplifier handles weaker received amplitudes, while phase modulation provides greater robustness for the system’s first-hit level detection.
Self-developed new material technology, lead-free and environmentally friendly
The core component of the solution, the lead-free piezoelectric ceramic flow sensor, adopts a new advanced ceramic material manufacturing technology to ensure that it does not contain lead elements and achieves a high degree of sealing performance, providing double protection for the sensor in material selection and packaging technology, ensuring that the product will not cause any pollution to it when it comes into contact with pure liquids such as water.
High quality, in compliance with international environmental regulations
Almost all piezoelectric ceramic materials on the market contain lead and need to pass environmental regulations through lead exemption regulations. The sensors used in the ADW lead-free flow measurement solution are made of lead-free piezoelectric ceramic materials, do not contain hazardous substances restricted by RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances Directive), and comply with international environmental regulations such as REACH (Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemicals), ensuring its safety and reliability in water quality monitoring and treatment.
Fast response, high-precision measurement
Lead-free piezoelectric ceramic flow sensors detect flow velocity through ultrasonic measurement technology to obtain flow rate. Therefore, the ultrasonic measurement solution of this product does not require other moving parts, does not generate eddy currents during measurement, does not affect the flow velocity and direction of the fluid, has low pressure loss, and more accurate results. Combined with the high resolution and fast response capabilities of UFC, the solution can provide more accurate flow data to meet various high-precision liquid measurement needs.
Strong weather resistance and high reliability
ADW lead-free piezoelectric ceramic flow sensor has passed multiple reliability verifications and rigorous testing procedures during the research and development process. It still maintains good performance under extreme conditions such as -20℃ low temperature, 90℃ high temperature environment, and even stability testing under 4.8MPa high pressure and vibration. This ensures that the measurement solution with lead-free ceramic flow sensor as the core can work stably in various extreme environments such as high temperature, high pressure, and vibration.
Easy to integrate and cost- effective
The lead-free flow measurement solution is highly integrated and can be applied to various monitoring systems or automated control systems without complex modifications. The sensors used in the solution are highly weather-resistant and reliable, effectively reducing maintenance costs. Combined with the high-efficiency drive of UFC, it helps to reduce overall operating costs.
